The shoot was commissioned by Red Consultancy who help McDonalds to promote their involvement in grassroots football. As the representative of McDonalds, Toni Duggan, the England and Manchester City footballer, made a personal appearance at Thackley Juniors to hand over kits to the players on their behalf.
The event, part of FA Girl’s Football Week, also celebrated Thackley coach Michelle Woolias being awarded the 2016 National McDonald’s Football Mum of the Year. Michelle received the kits from Toni and then took the training session in which Toni took part.
