A very rare event and one which The Canal and River Trust were keen to record. A convoy of around a dozen narrowboats navigated the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, gathering for a small celebration at the Marsden end of Standedge Tunnel, the longest and highest canal tunnel in the United Kingdom.
I was there to record the event for the trust.
