On each day through advent a new window is revealed by the resident whose turn it is to unveil the window they have designed and created.
These photographs celebrate the people of Saltaire, their great passion, creativity, enthusiasm and sense of community.
The inspiration to take these photographs was not simply about the people or the windows they designed. The Living Advent Calendar project highlights people’s relationship with the place and the essence of the spirit that pervades through the village of Saltaire. With these photographs I wanted to capture this relationship and something of what makes Saltaire so special.
